Windows Vista SP1 fresh from Technet. Works on all Vista versions (starter, home, business) 32 and 64 bit.
For people who can't wait for the official release on Windows Update.

Windows Vista SP 1 was made available since last thursday (Feb. 21), but perhaps users who want this service pack requiere their copy activated before they can download it from the source. Be aware, however, that Vista SP 1 WILL remove any *customization* you may have made to bypass the WGA issue.

Replace any bootloader "customization" you may have made with this one:

THEN install SP1.

Works like a charm on all versions of Vista and no other crack is needed.

This includes BOTH the 32 & 64bit of SP1 and is the final release MS put out for download. I checked file size and # of bytes is same for the 32bit package, 455611504. I didn't use the 64bit. It WILL UNDO any activation you have made. It has a KBxxxx (don't remember #) that MS put out recently to fix any known pre-SP1 activation loophole. You will have to find an activator for SP1. There's one on here reportedly working. Good luck!!

Correction: It somehow didn't "undo" a preactivated clean install version of Vista Ultimate on a laptop I have. I'm able to download updates and pass WGA validation. Anyway, no need to download this SP1 here. It's available on MS download section.

Can I install a working copy of Vista from this file? I've downloaded it, changed it to an .iso file and burned it down. I'm just not sure if I need a copy of Vista first! Thankyouuuu :)
